Degrees and Certifications:
Ely was my home before deciding to leave guiding and environmenatl education for the classroom. After getting my master's degree from Bethel University, I started teaching at a school called Crosswinds which was located same building E-STEM is in today. I have taught science for 15 years at the elementary, middle and high school level but middle school has always been my favorite. Teaching science and outdoor education has always been my focus but in the past few years teaching an engineering elective became the most fun part of my day. I believe that kids are natural problem solvers and love to build their ideas. In class our engineers design, build, break and fix their ideas.
