Greetings Families!

My name is Jennifer Wheeler and I will be your First Grade teacher this year! I am very excited to teach First Grade because they are energetic, love to learn and full of positive energy.

I was born in Bloomington and attended Bloomington Public Schools until 4^thgrade. My parents decided to build their own house and move our family to Apple Valley. I went to Green Leaf, Falcon Ridge Middle and then finished at Eastview High School.

I graduated from Metropolitan State University in 2014 with a B.A. in Urban Education K-6. While I was on the standard college breaks I decided to travel the world. I worked two jobs to pay for this dream of traveling the world. I went to Australia twice where I scuba dived in The Great Barrier Reef and also skydived. Other places I traveled: London, Scotland, Italy, Rome and Amsterdam. It was amazing to travel.

My traveling the world days are done for now. I got married and we had a little girl. She has such a big personality. I love being a MOM!!!! We also have two lovely dogs.
