Hello!

My name is Jamie Williams and I am thrilled to be teaching Middle School Social Studies! This is my first FULL year at Capitol Hill, and my tenth in SPPS. I will be teaching 7th grade American Studies and 8th grade Global Studies. I am excited to be teaching a Social studies elective course this year, studying history through fiction novels. I love how Social Studies threads through all subjects; reading and history pair so well together! I am excited to learn from the students as we analyze and make changes to the world together.

I grew up and live in St. Paul and am a proud product of SPPS. I am married and have two children, both in SPPS! Feel free to contact me with questions or concerns. I look forward to working with Capitol Hill families!
