Hello! Han! Boozhoo! Nyob Zoo! Hola!

My name is Taylor Yang and I have taught at AIMS since 2018. My first year teaching at AIMS I was the Building Substitute. I taught in all grades at our school, including elementary and middle school! The next three years I taught Kindergarten and this year I will be looping with those past kinders into first grade! I attended college at Metropolitan State University and received my teaching license for Urban Early Childhood Education. I attended Concordia University Saint Paul and earned my Masters in Trauma and Resilience in an Educational Setting. Before coming to AIMS I taught at a preschool for 6 years and continue to do so during the summer. I actually attended SPPS as a child and grew up on the East Side of Saint Paul. I loved my educators and learning community so much that during college I decided that SPPS was where I wanted to be.  

I love teaching children because of their desire to learn without constraints. Early learning is of the utmost importance to me. With a solid foundation our students can achieve anything they could possibly imagine and I love watching them grow!
