Mr. Theodore Carroll

¡Hola!

My name is Mr. (Profe) Theodore Carroll.  The 2022/2023 school year will be my fourth year teaching Spanish at Como Park.  I am from the Twin Cities originally, but have also lived and taught in Chicago, IL, and the Washington, DC, metro area. I have had the great fortune of traveling to/studying in Spain, Mexico, and Argentina.  I have a B.A. in Spanish and International Relations from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, IA.  I also have a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Loyola University Chicago, and a M.A. in Latin American Studies from George Washington University.  I am passionate about education, helping young people, and learning about the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world.  In my free time, I enjoy following soccer (I support Manchester United in England) and spending time with my family.

In the fall semester, I am teaching three sections of Spanish 1 (during periods 2A, 3B, and 4A), as well as one section of Spanish 2 (period 4B) and one section of Spanish 3 (period 3A).  All of my coursework can be found in Schoology.
