Ms. Lee's Kindergarten Class
Hello families and students! I am so excited to be working with you and your kindergarten scholar this school year. This year in kindergarten we will be learning a lot while also having so much fun. I want to start out by thanking you. I love working with families, and I cannot wait to get to know you better throughout this year. You are your child's first and longest educator and I hope that this year we will be able to work as a team to help ensure your scholar meets (and exceeds) their academic and socio-emotional goals!
A little bit about me...
I am originally from northern MN (near Fargo, ND), but I began my teaching career in Baltimore, MD where I also attained my MSEd from Johns Hopkins University. I taught in Baltimore City for two years and then outside Washington, D.C. for one year before my husband and I decided to move back to MN. This is my sixth year teaching, and my fourth year as a kindergarten teacher. I also have extensive experience working with multi-language learners, and I am excited to be in a school with such a diverse student population.
My husband and I live on the Eastside of St. Paul with our three cats (Garfi, Mr. Fats, and Olive). I absolutely love being a part of the community where I teach. I look forward to working with you and your scholar throughout this school year!
