For grant accountability and continuous improvement, yearly reports allow opportunity to reflect and plan for the work and growth of Restorative Practices in Saint Paul Public Schools.
2016-2017

Representatives of the Saint Paul Federation of Teachers (SPFT) and the Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS) district administration jointly agreed that a pilot program of restorative practices as a strategy to improve school climate. The 2016-17 school year marked the first year of a three-year pilot study to implement restorative practices. Of 18 applicants, six schools were chosen for the pilot through a
competitive application process.
2017-18

During the 2017-2018 school year, an additional 3 schools were added to the pilot implementation.
2018-19
-
The 2018-19 school year marked the third year of a pilot project to implement Restorative Practices (RP) in twelve Saint Paul Public Schools. Three additional schools were added to project.
2019-Current

SPPS Restorative Practices Coordinator, Becky McCammon, and University of Minnesota Program Evaluator, Kara Beckman, presented at the Progressive Education Network (PEN) Conference in October 2019.
