Harding High School offers a variety of athletic activities. A function of the athletic program is to promote lifelong personal growth and development. Student participation can encourage individual development by providing opportunities for leadership, sportsmanship, fellowship, teamwork, commitment to goal achievement, character building, communication skills, competition and school pride.
The Harding Knights compete in the Saint Paul City Conference. The athletic teams, as well as debate, speech, one act-play, visual arts and music are registered with the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL).

Academic Eligibility Requirements:
All athletes must be academically eligible. They must have earned the following number of credits by the beginning of the year to be eligible:
- Seniors: 64.5 credits
- Juniors: 43 credits
- Sophomores: 21.5 credits
- Freshman: Are Eligible
