Welcome to the Highland Park Elementary Library
Greetings HPE families,
We are offering contactless curbside library checkout to our students. Students/Families can visit mylibrary.spps.org or tap on the Destiny icon on their school issued ipad to request specific books for pick-up at school on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Please view this short video to learn how to login to Destiny and this short video about how to put books on hold Destiny Class Video. Students/Families in Pre-K - 5 may use this form, Book Bundle, to request a collection of books.
We will offer curbside pick-up once per week on Wednesdays. Requests should be made by 10 a.m. on Tuesdays to have books available on Wednesdays. We will send out confirmation emails on Tuesday afternoons to let you know your requests have been filled. Please only come to pick-up library materials if you have received a confirmation email. We encourage you to use this service to get recreational/independent reading materials for your child(ren).
Curbside pick-up will be at our front entrance on Saunders on Wednesdays from 10 am until 6 pm. Books will be in bags, in alphabetical order by last name, on a cart at the front door. Please press the button at the front door to gain entrance. Depending on the weather, the cart may be outside for your convenience. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing at the pick-up location.
