Traci Rounds, MSW, LICSW (she, her, hers)

Please meet our new School Social Worker, Traci Rounds. Traci has been a Social Worker in Saint Paul Public Schools for four years before coming to LEAP. She has experience in working with a variety of ages and grade-levels as well as within the general education and special education setting. She has an undergraduate degree from the College of Saint Benedict in Latinx American Studies and a graduate degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota. Traci is bilingual in English and Spanish and is excited to be a part of the LEAP community.

When not at work, Traci loves to cook and bake, travel, be outdoors, and just spend time with her husband and three young children. Traci and her family live in Saint Paul and love to participate in all that their community centers, public parks, hiking trails and restaurants have to offer.

Traci is eager to work with our LEAP students and their families as everyone navigates this difficult time during COVID. She is available to offer mental health and emotional support to our students and to help our students and families connect with any resources that they might need, including: resources for food and clothing, housing, medical insurance, mental health treatment or therapies, social security, or other needs that arise. Traci is available to connect with students individually or in groups to provide them with a safe space to seek support, share their unique and shared experiences, and provide a sense of community during a difficult school year.

If you are a LEAP student or community member in need of support, please reach out to Traci or another member of our support staff to see how we can best support you.
