Degrees and Certifications:
Hello. I am excited to begin another year as a Saint Paul Public School educator. I joined the district in 1995 as a sixth grade teacher and have had the opportunity to not only teach students at different grade levels but to serve as a teacher leader and champion for students in a variety of leadership positions. I have served as a teacher on special assignment (TOSA) and as a Peer Assistance and Review (PAR) coach to teachers seeking tenure across the district.
My love for learning was nutured at an early age by my family. I am additionally grateful to have had many intelligent, committed and caring teachers who have made a positive difference in my life. My desire is to continue that legacy for the students placed in my care.
I am happy to be a member of the Capitol Hill community of students, parents and staff.
My immediate family includes a husband, son, and daughter. I love listenting to music, singing, attending Bible study, laughing and learning.
