My name is Kyle Johnson and I am your school counselor. I was born and raised in Iowa and am about to enter my 15th year as an educator and my 2nd year as your school counselor. I've been a social studies teacher, a special education teacher, a volleyball coach and a high school counselor.
I enjoy running, golfing, watching and talking sports, fishing, hiking, camping, going up north, and spending time with my fiance and our dog, Lucy.
Here are a few of my Goals for this school year:
- To give all students the academic, social-emotional and college and career development skills they need.
- To help provide a supportive and fun school environment for all students.
- To help students be a good friend and citizen and discover new things about themselves.
I'm excited for the upcoming school year and a chance to see some familiar faces. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or need anything.
