Mr. Mohamed M.
My name is Mr. Mohamed, I am currently a SUTR Resident teaching Special Education (ASD) in Ms. Kate Bjostad's class, I worked at Como Park Elementary last year as an ASD teacher assistant. I have been a community organizer working in both St. Paul and St. Cloud developing non-profits for summer-meal and after-school programs since I was 19 years old. I am originally from the Sudan in East Africa and I lived in 5 different countries before the age of 10 (Libya, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, USA). I attended Edgerton Elementary in St. Paul and Roseville Area High school. I love to play tag, soccer, basketball, sand-man, and dodgeball with my students during recess, I am definitely still a big kid at heart. I spent most of my adult career working to eradicate poverty through AmeriCorps, FEMA, and multiple non-profit organizations sustaining youth leadership programs, legal assistance, and multicultural services. I am honored to be serving in St. Paul where I grew up and I look forward to making a difference in our community at SPMA by building genuine relationships and increasing parent involvement. See you around!!
