My name is Kareem Aal and this will be my 8th year teaching Social Studies here at Parkway Montessori.  Previously I worked at a charter school on the East Side for 6 years teaching middle school Social Studies.  Before that I taught in Costa Rica, and worked as an SEA at Crawford Middle School in Minneapolis and a youth counselor at St. Joseph's Home for Children.  

 

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (and also played soccer there.)  My teaching licensure program was through the University of Minnesota where I also got a Master's degree in education.  While working at Parkway I got my Montessori Credential through CMSTEP and a second Master's degree from the University of River Falls.
