I have been teaching at Parkway since it began in 2012. I got my teaching degree at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. I teach American Studies and Global Studies for 7th and 8th graders. I also teach MN Studies for 6th graders.
During my free time, I like to spend time with my family grilling and enjoying the weather during the spring and summer time. We love to go camping and fishing as well. Sports is a big part of my life as well. I used to coach soccer and track and field at Parkway, but I cannot this year.
I was born and raised in North Minneapolis. Working in St. Paul is a great way to experience both cities and see the greatness both cities have to offer. I live with my wife and we have a 7 year old son and a 3 year old daughter. I am very grateful.
When I first heard about the opportunity to teach at a Montessori school, I was excited to take the job and make a difference. Going through the Montessori training in Cincinnati, Ohio has also made me a better teacher and person.
