Shana Lee

  • Hello! My name is Shana Lee, but I go by Ms. Shana or Ms. Lee. This is my second full year in Saint Paul Public School district, but my first here at Parkway. I will be splitting my time this year between Parkway and Murray Middle School.

I am excited to be a co-teacher in 6th grade Science and 6th grade Social Studies classes. My role is to help students improve their academic language skills so they can be successful not only in their middle school academic work, but as they continue on their educational journey.

I graduated with a bachelors in cultural anthropology from Smith College in 2008, but pursued my first passion of cooking and pastry immediately after graduation. After working in restaurants and living abroad for a few years, I moved back to Minnesota and then began my teaching licensure program at Hamline in 2017. I received my K-12 ELL teaching license in the summer of 2019 and just completed my MA-TESOL from Hamline this past summer in 2020.

I am looking forward to having a great year with the community at Parkway!
