Hello! My name is Sarah Mooney-Berg and I am a WINN Literacy teacher here at Obama Elementary. This is my 12th year of teaching and my 2nd year here at Obama Elementary. I graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in Elementary Education and Spanish. I later graduated with a Master's Degree from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in K-12 Curriculum and Instruction. I work with students in kindergarten - grade 3 in small guided reading groups. I help students strengthen their reading skills and build fluency in order for them to become better readers.

I live in St. Paul with my wife and 3 kids, ages 18, 15 and 11. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time outside, going on walks with my dog, doing yoga and reading, of course!
