Welcome! My name is Alyssa Sanford. The 2022-2023 school year will be my second year at Farnsworth Aerospace Lower and my eleventh year in the district overall.

I grew up all over the U.S. I've lived in Georgia, North Carolina, New Jersey, Illinois, and Minnesota. I've lived in Minnesota for the last 16 years. I went to the University of Minnesota for my undergraduate degree and majored in deaf education. (I am fluent in American Sign Language!) I got my master's at Hamline University in Elementary Education.

I am so excited about joining the third grade team this year! This will be my third year teaching third grade and I am so excited to be back teaching my favorite grade! This is going to be a fabulous year!

Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, traveling, bullet journaling, and spending time with family and friends.
