Hola, my name is Victor Garrido.

I am originally from Guatemala and moved to Minnesota in 2014, with my wife and our dog, Bruce. Since then, we have added three sons to our family. I am looking forward to getting to know all of the students and families that make Highland such a special school. I am also looking forward to working with 8th graders on developing a global perspective and understanding current events in Global Studies.

Outside of school, I like to ride my motorcycle, go on bicycle rides or walks with my family and explore new playgrounds with my boys.
