What Students Love about Cherokee Heights Elementary
-
At Cherokee Heights, we are dedicated to guiding and growing greatness in our students. We focus on student achievement while building trusting, positive relationships through collaboration with staff, students, families, and community members.
In grades 1 through 5, our community school offers rich, standards-based instruction that meets the needs of individual students. In addition, beginning in first grade, students have water safety lessons in our school swimming pool. Students also get to explore Science and Technology in our STEM lab and to exercise their creative expression in our art program. Free after-school programming extends academic learning time and provides opportunities for students to build social skills.
Cherokee Heights students experience a variety of enrichment experiences through our multiple community partnerships, including Playworks, Youth Farm, Compass Art Residencies, The Ordway and the Science Museum to name a few.
Thank you for considering Cherokee Heights!
