Frederick Reeves:

Hi, my name is Frederick Reeves and I currently teach Physical Education at St. Paul Public Schools. I have been an educator for over 23 years in the St. Paul Public School District. In addition to being a Physical Education Teacher, I have coached varsity level and AAU sports for almost all of my 23 years. I have educated and trained athletes in many different sports, including Basketball, Baseball, Football, Softball, and Volleyball. My Subject Teaching Credential is in Physical Education, Health and EBD. I earned a B.A. in Psychology and my Masters in Psychological Counseling. I am licensed as a K-12 Administrator and Director of Special Education.  

Philosophy:

The purpose of physical education is to teach the whole student, not just their body and movement. Exposing students to various physical activities, sports, and methods of fitness can better provide enjoyment of physical activity, as well as build social, psychomotor, and cognitive skills.
