Ms. Carter

My name is Kim Carter and I am a Speech-Language Pathologist. The students that I work with all have some type of communication disorder, including Articulation (how sounds/words are produced), Receptive Language (how they understand language), Expressive Language (how they express their wants/needs and ideas), Fluency (stuttering) or Voice (Quality of their voice).

I have been working as a Speech Pathologist for over twenty years and I have had the opportunity to work with children through adults in a variety of settings.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my two daughters or playing with my dog, Benson.

My goal is to help each and every student be successful with understanding language and using their speech and language skills to be effective and confident communicators.

Feel free to contact me at any time if you have any concerns about your child’s speech and language skills.

SCHEDULE

I am in the building every Friday.  I am busy working with students during the day, however, so the best way to reach me is via email:  kim.carter@spps.org.
