Mental Health Services
-
Mental Health and Wellness refers to the continuum of emotional support available to students. These services include school-based programming, individual and group counseling provided by School Counselors and School Social Workers to the individual therapeutic supports provided by co-located mental health providers.
Farnsworth Upper is partnering with Metro Social Services (MSS) for the 2022-23 school year for co-located mental health services. MSS provides culturally competent services to individuals and families. These services include individual therapy and skills training, mental health screenings and diagnostic assessments. Mrs. Doua Xion, MA, LPCC, is on-site at Farnsworth daily.
If you would like to explore services with MSS, please contact your student’s grade-level Counselor or Social Worker.
