My name is Helene Ananou and I'm your child's Pre-K teacher this year. I'm originally from Togo, which is a French-speaking country in West Africa. I moved to the United States in 2007 to learn English and pursue my graduate education in the teaching field. I've been teaching for 16 years now and this is my 10th year in St Paul Public Schools. Before the Hub, I previously taught different grade levels (World Culture specialist, 2nd grade, 1st grade, Kindergarten) at L'Etoile du Nord French Immersion. Besides my French Bachelor's degree in Language Arts and my French master's degree in Linguistics, I graduated with a Master's in Art of Teaching at Hamline University in 2018.

I'm very excited to be on this journey with your family. Together we'll help your child reach their full potential and get ready for Kindergarten next year. 😀
