Hello Families and Students!

My name is Jessica Hughesdon and I am very excited to be at Cherokee Heights! I love teaching 4th grade and creating a partnership with the families in my classroom to create a warm and welcoming environment. I previously taught at The Heights Community School for three years and in Chicago for 20 years. I have my Master’s in Education and teaching is my passion. I enjoy watching the students grow and develop a love of learning. I am a mother to two beautiful and fun-loving children named Ben and Margo. We enjoy spending time outside, reading books, and hanging out with family in our free time. I look forward to meeting all of you and learning about your families!
