Hello Families!

My name is Emma Conway (Mrs. Conway) and I am the Social Worker at Barack & Michelle Obama Elementary School. I started my position in the district in 2020. I received a Bachelors of Science in Social Work from Bethel University and a Masters in Social Work with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Minnesota. I am licensed by the Minnesota Board of Social Work with my LGSW and the Minnesota Board of Education for School Social Work.

I enjoy connecting with students, families and the broader St. Paul community! At Obama, I will work closely with students, both individually and in groups. We will work on calming strategies, social skills and emotional regulation (to name a few!) I believe that relationships are an integral part of school for students and I am committed to building safe, supportive relationships throughout Obama.

In my free time I enjoy hiking, lifting, swimming and being with my big family!
