Ms. Morgan
Hello, Nyob zoo, and welcome!
My name is Morgan Schmitt-Morris. I am the school counselor here at Txuj Ci Hmong Language and Culture Upper Campus. I am here to support you and your students in all their academic, social-emotional, and career/college/future readiness needs. I am very excited to see our students this year!
I am very excited to say that I will be at Txuj Ci full time this year! During this time, I will work with students one-on-one, in small groups, in classroom lessons, or in any other way I can provide support to them and their families.
Just so you know a little bit more about me - I am originally from Iowa City, Iowa. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, and then returned home to complete my master's degree in school counseling at the University of Iowa. I am very happy to be back in the Twin Cities and to be working in the St. Paul Public School District! In my free time, I enjoy playing/watching soccer, reading, and traveling.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me. You can send me an email at: morgan.schmitt-morris@spps.org, reach me at HCLMS: 651-744-1489, or use my Google voice phone: 651-603-4571
I am really excited to see our school grow this year!

World Kindness Day was November 13th. In order to celebrate, students participated in various activities throughout the day. Staff made a video for students that they watched in Foundations, they created Kindness Day banners in Art with Xf. Va, and completed acrostic poems for their classmates in ELA. Be sure to check out the photo gallery and video below!
