This is my 10th year teaching English Language Arts in St. Paul, having previously worked with grades 6-12 at Open World Learning Community. I am passionate about working with young people to help them develop the skills necessary to make sense of a world that is always changing. This year I’ll be working with 11th and 12th grade students in their English Language Arts courses, as well as electives for grades 6th-12th.

I graduated from the University of MN - Twin Cities, where I earned bachelor's degrees in both English and Culture Studies with a focus on film and mass media. I believe that media literacy is crucial in navigating information, misinformation, and disinformation that can be found on social media.

In my free time I enjoy listening to and making music, long walks in Lowertown, spending time with my dog Milo, and learning to cook lots of delicious food!
