Welcome! I am Ms. Brittany, the general education Social Worker and Trauma Coach for GAP-Lower. This is my first year at GAP-Lower and with SPPS. The last six years I spent time working in another school district as a special education paraeducator and more recently, as a Positive Behavior Interventionist for the past four years. I am excited to be a part of the SPPS/GAP staff and am looking forward to working with staff, students, and families. 

As a social worker, I support the GAPL community by providing academic, behavior, and mental health services and work to promote a positive and equitable school experience for all students. In my role, I try to maximize access to school-based and community-based resources for staff, students, and families.

Outside of GAP, I enjoy walking my dogs, listening to music or audiobooks, cooking/baking, gardening, and other activities outside as long as it's not too hot! I thoroughly enjoy all seasons, except summer.
