My name is Mary Simmons and 2023-2024 will be my 28th year teaching in SPPS and my 1st year teaching kindergarten at Battle Creek Elementary School.  I have also taught 5^th grade, 2^nd grade and 1^st grade.  This year will be my 23^rd year teaching kindergartners.  I live in Eagan with my husband, Kirk, and Pepper, our Humane Society rescue dog.  When I am not at work, I enjoy seeing live comedy performances and watching movies with friends.  I look forward to helping kindergarten students experience how fun and exciting learning can be!
