Daria Caldwell brings a wealth of experience in helping all students feel represented and accepted for who they are. She brings 10 years of experience in educational leadership and classroom teaching. She began her career in education as an elementary physical education teacher and transitioned out of the classroom where she was Dean of Students at Burnsville High School. Ms. Caldwell has served students and families in Saint Paul Public schools in various capacities including the Office of Family Engagement and Community Partnerships, Discovery Club, and most recently as an Assistant Principal at Ramsey Middle School.
Ms. Caldwell understands the importance of collaborating with staff and families and embracing the unique gifts that each student brings. She values family engagement and has built relationships between students and staff to create a positive school culture.
Ms. Caldwell looks forward to partnering with families, students, staff and the community to continue the great work at Galtier.
Ms. Caldwell has excellent academic qualifications with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education Teaching from the University of St. Thomas and a Masters in Applied Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota. She completed her administrative license at Hamline University where she is currently a Doctoral candidate for her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership.
