Welcome to Global Arts Plus 2021-22 school year! I am a special education teacher in a self-contained classroom. I work with students in grades Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grades. We are supported by an incredibly dedicated and highly skilled para-professional team.

Students in our classroom work together on individualized academic, self-help, physical and social-emotional  goals and objectives. Students join their grade level peers as much as possible for morning meeting, lunch, recess, specialist time (art, music, dance/drama), arts residencies, and field trips. All students in my classroom also attend Music Therapy and Adapted Physical Education.

A few quick things about me: I have a son in 9th grade here in St. Paul Public Schools and I love riding my bike, gardening, reading, and road-trips! 

I gradudated from South High in Minneapolis. At the University of Minnesota, I studied History, particularly Labor History in the United States.  At Bethel University, I studied to become a Special Education teacher.
