    "Hello Highland Alumni and Friends,

We have had a busy fall, at Highland!  Some of our highlights include:

    Athletic Highlights
The musket returns to HP!!  Highland defeated Central for the return of the Musket!  The game was played on Wednesday, October 19th at Central's Griffin Stadium.  A close game, ending with a score of 21-14 and the Musket back in our hands.  You can read the article here:

HPSH had five conference titles this fall.  Girls' Cross Country, Volleyball, Girls' Swimming and Girls' Soccer all added to the list of conference champions!

    Art Highlights
The theater department put on a scintillating and politically charged performance of "Antigone".

Dia de los Muertos - Union Latina led the school in celebrating Dia de los Muertos.  They created an assembly full of music, dance, and history.
The Dance program hosted a 10 day exchange with dance teachers and students from Rohini High School in Delhi, India, culminating in a shared performance for the school.

    Academic Highlights
90% of the Class of 2016 is enrolled in 2 or 4 year colleges.  We have Highland graduates in 82 different post-secondary schools, throughout the country and abroad.

Highland continues to have a strong International Baccalaureate program, with the Middle Years Program (9th/10th) and the Diploma program (11th/12th).  For the class of 2017, we have 51 IB Diploma Seniors (the largest IB Diploma class in the Twin Cities!)

In addition to a successful fall, many students are gearing up for winter activities:
