Educational Programs at Crossroads
-
We are very excited to be able to offer some truly unique learning opportunities to our students, including three significant programs impacting the majority of our students: the Inquiry Zone, being a NASA Explorer School, and visiting the Audubon Center of the North Woods.
The Inquiry Zone is a nationally unique learning environment designed to encourage students in the process of inquiry.
We are one of the first 50 schools in the country to be part of the NASA Explorer School program bringing us financial and resource support in science, math and technology.
All our students are able to participate in a two three day residential environmental education experience during their years at Crossroads. They travel to the Audubon Center in the winter while in sixth grade and the summer in fourth. Montessori will have a winter and summer experience in two of the three years they are in E2.
