About Ms. Stuart
Welcome to Washington and House 42 "Hamline Pipers!"
My name is Keidra Stuart and I teach pre-algebra and math lab this year at Washington. This is my seventh year teaching at Washington and my tenth year teaching in St. Paul. My favorite thing about teaching is the relationships that I get to develop with my students throughout the year and seeing them develop not only in their math skills but also personally.
So a little bit about me…I grew up in a small town in northern Wisconsin always knowing that I wanted to go to college and live in the twin cities area. So, when it came to making a decision of where I was going to continue my education, I chose Hamline University in Saint Paul. I graduated from Hamline University in May 2006 with a degree in mathematics and secondary education, and have been teaching in St. Paul since January of 2007. When I am not at Washington teaching, you could probably find me spending time with my husband, Peter, my daughter, Charlotte (5), and my son, Parker (3). I absolutely love being a mom! Watching my kids learn new things, hearing the funny things my 3 year old says, and seeing them smile makes my day. Peter and I got married in October of 2007 and we have enjoyed traveling together and love playing sports and being outside. Some other things I enjoy are watching movies, running, playing basketball, working out, watching TV/sports or relaxing, spending time with friends and family and hanging out with my 15 nieces and nephews.
