Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Lydia Kabaka began her administrative career in St. Paul Public Schools in 2012 at Highland Park Senior High School. She joined Washington Technology Magnet as an Assistant Principal in the 2013-2014 school year. She is excited to be back for the 2016-17 school year and is thrilled to be a part of the Washington community and is looking forward to working with students, staff, and families for the upcoming school year.
Prior to coming to St. Paul, Ms. Kabaka has had a wide range of experiences in her career as an educator. She has worked in urban and suburban districts in a variety of different capacities for over a decade. Most recently, she served the last 8 years as a school counselor in the Hopkins School District. As part of her academic background, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota and completed her Master’s degree from St. John’s University in Jamaica, New York. She also received her K-12 Principals License from St. Cloud State University.
