Bonjour, je m’appelle Mlle Eichten! I’ve taught at L'Etoile du Nord French Immersion (LNFI) since 2009 in multiple capacities (1st grade, Kindergarten, Science Specialist K-1 & 6th grade and 2nd grade since 2013.) Prior to that I worked as a T.A. in two middle schools en banlieue in France, a medical interpreter, legal translator, TEFL teacher, IDA program coordinator & personal banker. I earned my B.A. degree in French & Italian at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, my TEFL Certification and K-6 Elementary Education License from Hamline University. At age 16 I lived abroad with a French host family for 10 months and attended French high school Lycée Pablo Picasso in Fontenay sous bois, France. I’ve studied or worked abroad in France, Cuba, and Tunisia. I speak 5 languages (English, French, Italian, Spanish, and some Arabic). I love to travel and Black Panther!
