Ms. Andrea Sparks
Hi, My name is Andrea Sparks. I am the Crossroads Science Pre-K eacher. I started teaching Pre-K in the fall of 2017. I previously taught Kindergarten here at Crossroads and many know me as Ms. D. I have two children and enjoy watching them grow and learn and play.
I received my Bachelors degree at UW Stout in Early Childhood. In 2017 I went to Concordia for my Masters in Differentiated Instruction. Currently, I am in a Masters program for Trauma informed teaching. My schooling allows me to work with children birth to third grade and to look at their different learning styles and abilities and design and implement lessons and a learning space to meet each child's needs. I am passionate about helping students in whatever way I can and meeting them at whatever level they are at.
I love being a teacher! Working with students and watching them learn and discover each day inspires me. I love working with families and building relationships that will last far beyond the one year I have a student. I grew up close to Crossroads and being here feels like home. I wish for each child in my care a love of school and learning and a sense of acceptance and love.
