Open World Learning Community PTO
Welcome to Open World Learning Community’s PTO organization!
With educational equity as our focus, the OWL PTO welcomes all parents, students and staff to help us enhance and support the experience at Open World Learning Community by:
Building and sustaining a strong school community by encouraging and facilitating parent/guardian, student and staff involvement in OWL activities;
Enhancing the learning environment of OWL through volunteer and financial support of events and projects not funded by the school budget.
All current parents and guardians, students and staff at OWL are voting members of the OWL PTO; there is no fee for membership. Regular meetings are open to all, and our leadership team is made up of elected volunteers.
Our fundraising supports fall retreats, spring interim, program grants, culture nights and staff appreciation. We raise this money through OWL spirit wear and coffee sales, although most of our budget comes from direct donations made through GiveMN.org at https://www.givemn.org/organization/Open-World-Learning-Community-Pto
