Degrees and Certifications:
Masters of Education Spanish
Queridos padres y familias,
Bienvenidos al año 2018-2019. I am looking forward to teaching this year. I hope everyone feels refreshed and ready to learn.
A little bit about myself ...
I grew up in St. Paul and attended St. Paul Public Schools through high school. (I'm an alumni of Capitol Hill)
I received my Spanish degree from the University of Minnesota.
I spent a total of 2.5 years travelling and studying in Mexico, Central, and South America.
I have taught in St. Paul for 15 years and Minneapolis for 1 year.
I live in St. Paul with my husband and four children (two go to Central and two go to French Immersion).
I fiddle Scandinavian style.
The things I enjoy doing most are spending time with my family and friends, experiencing nature, travelling/camping, xc skiing, playing soccer, gardening, and cooking.
I care about the environment and also creating a well-balanced life.
In the future I would like to be a forest ranger.
This summer I went camping on the Arrowhead and visited my cabin.
Again, I am extremely excited for this school year and look forward to both teaching and learning with students.
