Becky Luetje

My name is Becky Luetje, and I have had the privilege to be the Counselor at JAJ since 2014!  I am both a licensed school counselor and a licensed teacher, with a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls, and a a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota (go Gophers!).

I have lived in the Twin Cities my entire life.  Besides being at JAJ, my favorite thing to do is hang out with my family!  My husband, Dan, and I are the parents of 2 adult children, Lissa and Henry.  They keep me laughing, and I enjoy every minute I get to spend with them.  I also enjoy reading a good book, taking walks, and connecting with friends.  We have a cat named Princess, and a dog named Red.

I am proud to be a part of the JAJ school community.  We are strong.  We work together, learn together, and support one another.  I can't think of a place I would rather be!

John A. Johnson School Counseling Vision:

JAJ students are healthy, resilient adults who are valued and respected for the contributions they make to the communities in which they live.  They are problem-solvers, able to navigate through whatever challenges they face with skill and determination.  Possessing the skills needed to develop and maintain healthy relationships with the people in their lives, they  achieve greatness in their careers and in life.  Their families, their communities, and the world are better off because of them, and they make us all proud.

The JAJ School Counseling program is a Recognized ASCA Model Program
