Reading

Welcome to Reading Study Skills! You have been selected for this class so that you can work with a small team of students to prepare you to read and understand many kinds of reading materials. Successful readers can read, explore, and use new vocabulary terms. They can interpret and talk about the main idea of what they have read. Successful readers become successful students and successful in life. As a team we will work on many reading activities and strategies over the entire school year. Reading Study Skills is a course designed to equip students with the skills needed for effective reading, while also instilling the love of reading. Students may read more this year than they ever have read in school before!
