Mrs. Biagi (Ojibwe Language Inclusion)
Hello, my name is Liz Biagi. I have been working at the American Indian Magnet School for three years. This is my second year teaching preschool at AIMS. I have previously taught preschool at Jackson Elementary - the Hmong Dual Immersion Magnet. I am the mother of three grown children and have a four-year-old granddaughter. I grew up on the East Side and attended Saint Paul Public Schools. Prior to teaching I ran my own Nationally Accredited Child Care for 16 years.
Spring of 2005 I graduated from Bemidji State University with a K-8 Elementary Education degree with an endorsement in Communication and Language Arts. During the summer of 2005, I added pre-primary (ages 3 to K) to my license. Then in 2007, I completed my Masters in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University - Saint Paul.
I live with my husband, daughter and dog, Belle Anastasia. I enjoy watching softball, visiting historical sites and experimenting with different recipes. Last year taught I myself how to make mozzarella cheese. I love to read, travel, fish, garden, and play with my granddaughter.
