Whether you are a new student to AGAPE or you are returning for another awesome year, we are so happy to have you join us!
AGAPE is a unique school within the Saint Paul Public school district. Below are a few questions that are frequently asked by potential students and their families:
Q: How do I get enrolled at AGAPE?
A: If you were enrolled in a Saint Paul Public School within the prior school year, you can call us and schedule an intake meeting with our administrator, Mrs. Weir. If you are under 18 a parent MUST accompany you to the intake meeting to sign paperwork. If you are new to our district, you will have to first go to the Student Placement Center located at 2102 University Ave W, St Paul, MN 55114.
Q: Will I get a bus?
A: If you live within the Saint Paul district, a yellow school bus will pick up yourself and your child at your front door - or as close to it as we can get! If you are outside the SPPS district, transportation to and from school is up to you. We cannot provide bus passes or tokens to students.
Q: How do I get childcare?
A: Contact Mary Vang at email@example.com and come to our childcare orientation in August - see calendar for details.
Q: Do I need to bring anything my first day?
A: Just you (and your baby obviously....if applicable!). Most school supplies are provided but backpacks are not so bring one if you want one. School breakfast and lunch are provided free of charge to ALL AGAPE students.
Q: Do I need to be pregnant or parenting to attend AGAPE?
A: Yep, that is a definite requirement to attend AGAPE. You do not need to use the childcare our YMCA partners provide in-house but we ask that you bring your baby to intake so that we can at least meet them and smoosh their little cheeks.
Q: Is AGAPE REALLY an all girls school?
A: We really are an all-girls school. And it's amazing. AGAPE is a school AND a safe place of sisterhood, friendship, sharing, healing and personal growth.
