I have been teaching at Como Park Senior High School since 2012. I am a native of Stone Mountain, Georgia and have lived in Minnesota for 11 years. I graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. I received a Masters of Education from the University of St. Thomas. I began teaching in 2005 and I have taught grades pre-k thru 12^th.

I enjoy traveling to new places,the outdoors and spending time with family. I teach because I believe all students have the potential to be academically successful and I have a passion for helping them achieve their goals. In addition, I want to help decrease the academic disparity of our minority students at our school.
