Degrees and Certifications:
Welcome to Fourth Grade!
I am excited to be your child's teacher this year. This is my 7th-year in fourth grade at Battle Creek. This year, I am teaching a split classroom with 4th and 5th graders. I love teaching and learning and try to make every day at school positive, fun and educational!
I received my teaching degree from the University of St. Catherine in 1987 and I have been in the Saint Paul Public Schools since 1988. In addition, I have a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of St. Thomas. I have experience teaching in kindergarten through 8th grade, as well as being a gifted and talented specialist.
I consider parents and teachers as partners in a child’s education. I am excited to work with you to provide your child with a wonderful school year full of fun and learning. Parents are always welcome in our classroom (just let me know when you are planning to visit). In addition, I was trained this summer to do home visits. If you would like me to come to your home to meet you and your child, I would be glad to do it.
