Degrees and Certifications:
I have been a teacher in the Saint Paul public school district for 11 years, all of which have been at Randolph Heights. I am also proud to say that I'm a product of Saint Paul public schools. I graduated from Harding High School in 2000. I received my Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisonsin River Falls. I taught 5th grade my first five years at Randolph Heights, and then first grade ever since. I enjoy teaching first grade because first graders are such hard workers and make such significant gains. It's amazing to see such little people make so much growth within a year's time. It keeps me passionate about my job and reminds me everyday why I am a teacher.
My family and I enjoy spending quality time together roller skating, riding our bikes, and taking walks at the park. My husband and I have three beautiful girls, ages seven, three, and one. My seven year old also attends Randolph Heights. As a parent and teacher, I get to see the school from two perspectives. My husband and I feel truly honored to be able to have our daughter attend Randolph Heights. It is truly an incredible school.
