Mr. Isebrand

My Background

I was born and raised in southern Minnesota, a small town called Lake Crystal. I moved to the metro area in 2003 with my wife, Susan. We now live in Savage with our 3 children, Greydon, Evelyn, and Livia. In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my kids, watching movies, and reading.

6th Grade Math

Students will be working toward mastery in the math standards, Numbers and Operation, Algebra, Geometry, and Data and Statistics. 80% of students' grades come from unit assessments and 20% comes from daily work - math review participation and quizzes, in class work and daily assignments, and problem solving. Our daily agenda is Math Review (a 10-15 minute review of critical math skills), new information, check-in, quiz or exit slip. Each Friday, students will be engaged in problem solving activites or taking a math review quiz.

*** All assignments are due prior to the unit assessment. Any assignment turned in after the completion of the assessment will be given half credit only.***
