Mrs. Phyllis Pleshek Blilie

Phyllis Blilie has been a teacher at EXPO for 19 years; this is her 27th year teaching in the Saint Paul Public Schools where she has taught grades 1-3.  Phyllis has a Bachelor's Degree in Social Welfare and a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.  Ms. Blilie received a K-6 elementary teaching license from Augsburg College.  Before Phyllis taught at EXPO, she was a licensed parent educator in ECFE in the school district.  

When she is not at EXPO Mrs. Blilie enjoys playing banjo, hiking, riding bike, kayaking, reading, and traveling.  Her family vacations in the state of Washington every summer; last summer they went whale watching tin the San Juan Islands.  

Mrs. Blilie lives in northern Shoreview with her husband, Jim Blilie, and their youngest son, Jamie.  Jamie is a 7th grader at Chippewa Middle School in Shoreview; he loves to fish and take photographs.  Jim is a mechanical engineer at Boston Scientific, and he builds and plays guitars in his free time.  

Mrs. Blilie LOVES just about everything at EXPO: kids, parents, special activities, staff, and looping!
