Ms. Kimberly Raedeke
Kimberly Raedeke has been at EXPO Elementary 30 years and began with the Saint Paul Public schools in 1988. Ms. Raedeke received her K-6 Education and K-12 Art Education Bachelor of Arts Degree from Concordia University. Ms. Raedeke teaches the Art Resource Class. The first two years at EXPO she taught kindergarten and first grade. In 1994 she published the lyrics and music to the song "Piece by Peace We Build Our Community".
Ms. Raedeke lives in the Twin Cities. Outside EXPO she enjoys gardening, hiking, reading, singing, spending time with family and friends and making art.
Ms. Raedeke loves working with EXPO's awesomely-fun staff, original-creative students and wonderfully-extraordinary families.
In the Art Resource class our curriculum includes Art History, Art Production, Art Aesthetics and Art Analysis. We practice Critical Thinking, Creative Problem Solving, Teamwork, Growth Mindset, Higher Order Thinking Skills, Multiple Intelligences, and the joy of Life-Long Learning through Art Making.
Each week EXPO learners rotate through one of the five Resource classes: ART, GT, PE, SCIENCE & OUTDOOR ED.
